1 cucharadita de condimento para mariscos (como Old Bay®)
1 cucharadita de ajo en polvo
sal y pimienta negra molida a gusto
1 taza de harina de maíz
4 (4 onzas) filetes de pescado swai
2 cucharadas de aceite de canola
¼ taza de agua
INSTRUCCIONES
Paso 1 Combine las escamas de pimienta roja, el condimento para mariscos, el ajo en polvo, la sal y la pimienta en un tazón. Esparcir la harina de maíz en un tazón poco profundo. Sazonar el pescado swai con la mezcla de copos de pimienta roja y presionar cada filete en la harina de maíz para cubrirlo. Envuelva los filetes recubiertos en plástico y refrigérelos durante 30 minutos.
Paso 2 Calienta el aceite en una sartén a fuego medio. Desenvuelva el pescado y colóquelo en el aceite caliente; cocínelo hasta que se dore, unos 5 minutos por cada lado. Añada agua, hierva a fuego lento, tape y cocine, volteando ocasionalmente, hasta que el pescado se desmenuce fácilmente con un tenedor, unos 10 minutos.
